Rita W. Williams, age 64, of Troy, Alabama passed away on January 1, 2019 after battling primary peritoneal cancer for the past year. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2019 at 12:00 pm until 1:45 pm at First Baptist Church in Troy. The funeral will follow at 2:00 pm with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Rita is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Frank Williams Jr., their 4 children and their spouses, and 10 grandchildren; her son Will and his wife Rachel Williams along with their 4 children: Viola, Bern, August, and Poppy; her son Foz and his wife Kristen Williams along their 2 children: Evelyn and John Foster; her daughter Mimi and her husband Matt, along with their 2 children: Isla and Cora; and her daughter Morgan and her husband Dalton, along with their 2 children: Bison and Brawn. She is also survived by her mother, Molly Williams of Modoc, KS, as well by 5 of her siblings and their remaining spouses; Susie and Archie Gooden, Anita Hoeme, Aleta and Scott See, Alan Williams, and Andy and Jamie Williams, as well as, her brother-in-law Paul Teetzan; her mother-in-law Ann K. Williams of Troy, AL; her sister-in-law Betsy and Jimmy Lott; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her father Duane Williams of Modoc, KS; her sister Nancy; her brother-in-law Clint Okeson; her brother-in-law Allen Hoeme, her sister-in-law Tonja Williams; and her father-in-law Frank (Red) Williams Sr.
