After getting six points by Devin Parker in the second quarter, the Trojans scored 14 points in the second quarter and went into halftime holding a 27-point lead at 36-9.
The Trojans were outscored in the second half 31-25, but held on to win by 19 points, giving them their first area win.
Keith Wheeler led all scorers with 14 points, while Parker also finished in double figures with 10 points. Akeives Shorts and Tay Knox each had eight points, while Cody Youngblood had six. Ja’Carion Burney and Mario Davenport each had four points. Bradley Caldwell had three points and Joshua Finger and Zach Henderson had two points.
The Trojans will look to get above the .500 mark in area play when they travel to Ozark to take on Carroll on Friday evening.
