The Pike County Lady Bulldogs began play in the Class 3A Area 4 Tournament on Monday evening in Dothan. The Bulldogs had their season come to a close with a 33-23 loss to Houston Academy.

The Lady Bulldogs came into the contest as the number two seed after losing a coin toss to host Providence Christian. The two teams tied on top of the Area 4 standings at the end of the regular season.

The Lady Bulldogs held Houston Academy scoreless in the second quarter, but a 25-point second half was too much to overcome.
