Former Trojan named SWAC Hitter of the Week

Former Charles Henderson outfielder Jabronski Williams was named The SWAC Hitter of the Week earlier this week.

Williams, who previously played at Wallace-Selma, is in his first season in Montgomery.

The league office named Williams the SWAC Hitter of the Week after hitting .304. He helped the Hornets go 4-2. He finished the week with seven hits, five of them went for extra base hits. He slugged .615 and had an on-base percentage of .406

Williams had two doubles and two triples and hit his first home run. Williams went 2-4 against the Troy Trojans with a double. He went 3-4 against Toledo with 4 RBI.

Williams is hitting .298 this season. He has one home run and nine RBI. He has a total of seven extra base hits, including three doubles and three triples. He has five stolen bases.
