Johnny Rex Lindsey, 75, passed away Tuesday March 24, 2020 at his home in Phoenix, Arizona.
Johnny was born and raised in Mt. Moriah, Alabama, the son of Johnny B. and Lucille (Pedigo) Linzey. He attended Shellhorn School and Troy High School. After serving in the U.S. Army, Johnny moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he was employed with Tech Poulson, Inc. until his retirement.
He leaves behind Sisters; Lamonia Kohler (Konrad) of Atlanta, Ga., Patricia Lane Case (Ron) of Troy, Al.,
April Joy Campbell of Troy, Al. and Brothers; Terry Lynn Linzey of Phoenix, Az., and Charles Nicholas Linzey (Joni) of Lampasas, Tx.
Many loving nieces and nephews, along with many cousins, and his beloved caregiver Maria Galaviz of Phoenix, Az.
He is preceded in death by his parents Johnny B and Lucille Linzey, Sisters; Nancy Ann Gearhart (Frank) of Waco, Tx. and Precious Arlene Sanchez. Brothers; Tommy Jerry Linzey, Ted Eric Linzey, Tony Ray Linzey, and James Franklin Linzey.
Services will be directed by Dillard Funeral home of Troy, with Jim Powell officiating.
Due to current covid-19 restrictions all services for Mr. Lindsey will be private.
