Jerry Thompson Wood 81, a resident of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away Saturday April 11,2020. He was born in Troy, Alabama to parents James Lamar and Elise Thompson Wood of Goshen, Alabama.

He graduated from Goshen High School where he excelled in football, basketball and baseball. He attended the University of Alabama, was a member of Lama Chi Alpha Fraternity and earned a Business Administration degree from Troy University.

He was preceded in his death by his parents James Lamar and Elise Thompson Wood, brother Richard Michael Wood. Mr. Wood is survived by his wife of 60 years Jacquline “Jackie” Wood. Daughters; Dena Michelle Fancher (Bill) Spokane, WA, Tamara Milessa Wood Deason, Edmond, OK, Sister; Joan Wood Beard, Troy AL. Grandchildren; Skylar Fancher wife Ashley, Madison Fancher, Tanner Bowen Wood, Jesse Deason.

He had a long career in the food brokerage industry and retired from Carl Wheeler and Associates Food Brokerage. Celebration of Life will be held in Edmond, OK and Troy AL. at a date to be announced.
