The Impassable Travel Advisory issued Wednesday night for county roads and bridges remains in effect as crews assess damages.
“We ask that you exercise caution and suspend or delay all travel in order to allow these assessments to be completed,” said Pike County EMA Director Herb Reeves.
“If you are traveling, please be cautious in areas that assessments are being made. Updates will be provided throughout the day.”
Updated, 7:45 p.m. Sept. 15.
As of 7:45 p.m., all county roads in Pike County have been deemed impassable and closed for emergency traffic only.
Pike County EMA Director Herb Reeves said the roads would be evaluated in the morning and updated again for closings.
