The Ariton Purple Cats football team fell 35-20 against non-region opponent Slocomb on Friday night in Slocomb.
The loss for the Purple Cats drop them to 2-4 on the year.
This game marks their third straight loss against a tough schedule of 3 straight road games.
The Purple Cats recorded 436 total yards of offense, with 293 through the air, and 143 on the ground.
Ariton quarterback Ian Senn completed 23 of his 39 passing attempts for a total of 293 yards and one touchdown.
Cade Webb led the receivers with 8 catches for 114 yards and 1 touchdown. Isaiah Johnson had 5 catches for 74 yards with 1 touchdown, while Jordan Smith had 5 catches for 53 yards.
