The Pike County Democratic Party has planned a Drive-in the Vote with Doug Jones socially-distanced, in-car rally at 6 p.m. on Thursday at St. Paul AME Church in Troy.

Monica Denise Riley, Pike Democratic chair, said the drive-in rally will be an opportunity for voters to hear from Democratic Senator Doug Jones, who is seeking re-election against Republican Tommy Tuberville, a former Auburn University head football coach, and other special guests.

“This will be an opportunity to learn why we all have to get out and vote in this election,” Riley said. “I’m really excited to have Senator Doug Jones back in Troy. Pike County’s Democratic base gets stronger with each election so I am grateful that the senator has decided to come and help us get out the vote.

Those who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should not attend the rally.

RSVP is required and the link can be found on the Pike County Democratic Party Facebook Page.
