Wanza C. Griswold, age 87, a resident of Troy, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, November 1, 2020 surrounded by her family at her residence. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 11 am at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery – 2531 County Road 1177, Troy, AL 36081 – with the Rev. Charles Newman officiating and Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

She is survived by her devoted husband: Athol Griswold; daughter: Becky C. Giddings (Byron) of Navarre, FL; daughter-in-law: Joy L. Campbell; granddaughter: April C. Johnson (Alec); great grandchildren: Madison, Reid, Molli Kate Johnson – all of Troy; and sister: Mary Clark Allen (Larry) of Dozier, AL.

She is preceded in death by her daughter: Charlene Campbell (Chip Haeflinger) of Grady, AL; son: Norman Campbell (Joy) of Troy, AL.

Serving as pallbearers will be Byron Giddings, Alec Johnson, Reid Johnson, Joel Kervin, John Ganey, and Delaney Kervin.

The family would like to issue a special thanks to the staff of Compassus Hospice for the many laughs and all the loving care they extended to Mrs. Wanza. They would also like to thank their devoted friends at Oak Grove United Methodist Church for always keeping them in their circle of friendship and prayers as Mrs. Wanza and Athol went along their journey.
