The Johnson Center for the Arts has announced its main annual fundraising event and it’s a “Celebration at the Center” with a different flair.

This year’s event will be a Cabaret Musical Dinner Theater on Thursday, November 9, at the Johnson Center for the Arts and The Studio and it’s a ticketed event, said Andrea Pack, JCA director.

“All proceeds from the benefit will benefit out non-profit organization,” Pack said. “The JCA aims to provide accessible arts enrichment opportunities to all our citizens.”

Pack said access to music, theater, dance, poetry, visual arts exhibitions – “the arts” gives children and adults the key to their innermost thoughts and ability of expression, which, “we believe” is essential to community and culture.”

The JCA is offering Celebration at the Center Sponsorship opportunities at different giving levels –  $300, $500 and $800;

All levels receive special sponsorship recognition and tickets to the Cabaret Musical Dinner Theater based on the level of sponsorship- $300, 3 tickets; $500, 5 tickets; and $800, 8 tickets.

The JCA will also be selling tickets for a drawing at the event. The winning ticket can choose to receive a gold coin or a tax-deductible certificate for the value, currently around $2,000, if donated back to the JCA.  Gold coin tickets are $25 each.
