Tupper urges reading during Christmas holidays

The staff of the Tupper Lightfoot Memorial Library in Brundidge is wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and also a reminder that “Tupper” has a large number of Christmas books for all ages to enjoy during the Christmas season.
Theresa Trawick, library director, said the city library will be closed December 23-26 and December 30 through January 1.
“Library patrons are reminded of free book access for those who want to check out eBooks
on their smartphones or other devices,” Trawick said. “Ask, staff members about the Libby App.”
No children’s programs will be held December18 through January 8.
The Tupper Lightfoot Memorial Library invites everyone to make plans to “Celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr.” on January 20, at the Tupper Lightfoot Memorial Library,” Trawick said. “Celebrate Civil Rights Activist and Leader, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a movie and popcorn. More details about the celebration will be announced at a later date.”
