The Charles Henderson Trojans picked up a win on the wrestling mat over Northside Methodist in a dual by a score of 30-24.

Charles Henderson’s Henry Grenon (126 pounds), David Dawson (132 pounds), Jackson Jones (175 pounds) and Brendon Moseley (190 pounds) all won via forfeit. Sterling Sharp also picked up a pinfall win in the 285-pound division over Northside Methodist’s Jaxson Hinson.

Northside Methodist picked up wins in the 106-pound, 113-pound and 215-pound divisions via forfeit, while Wesley Hartman defeated Charles Henderson’s Jace Dates at 165 pounds via pinfall.

Charles Henderson also faced off with Brewbaker Tech in a dual on Monday, falling 42-18. Charles Henderson’s Demond Williams (127 pounds) and David Dawson (133 pounds) won via forfeit. Sharp again picked up a win in the 285-pound division via pinfall over Brewbaker’s Kristen Brazzley.

Also, Brewbaker Tech earned forfeit wins in the 114-pound, 121-pound, 145-pound and 152-pound divisions with a double forfeit at 160 pounds. At 172 pounds, Dates lost via pinfall to Brewbaker’s Devion Madison, while Charles Henderson’s Tamarion Brundidge lost via pinfall to Brewbaker’s Kennyen Dumas. Trojan Zamir Caffie fell via pinfall to Brewbaker’s Devin Harper at 215 pounds.

Charles Henderson is back on the mat at Chatt-Co on Dec. 19. The Trojans will also dual with Park Crossing at that match.
