For Donna Kidd and those who are Salvation Army bell ringers, Red Kettle time is the best time of the year.

Kidd, director of the Pike County Salvation Army in Troy, said the annual Red Kettle campaign is the local Salvation Army’s largest fundraiser of the year, and, therefore, is the opportunity to do the most good in the community.

“Although the Red Kettle Campaign is our biggest fund raiser, it also requires a lot of man power,” Kidd said.  “But I’m sure that anyone, who has rung the bell for our annual Red Kettle campaign will say that it was worth their time For me, it’s a blessing to be able to participate.”

Bell ringers are needed and greatly appreciated as the Red Kettle Campaign moves into the closing days of the Red Kettle campaign in support of the Pike County Salvation Army largest fundraiser of the year.
