This past weekend, a trio of Charles Henderson Trojans competed in all-star football games.
Offensive lineman Benton Dunn and kicker Nik Peerson competed for the South in the AHSAA North-South All-Star Football game in Mobile. Peerson booted a 33-yard field goal with just 25 seconds remaining to lift the South over the North 31-28. Montgomery-Catholic’s Caleb McCreary – a Troy commit – set up the field goal by scrambling to convert a fourth down on the drive.
