The clock is ticking and tickets are going fast so don’t wait or you’ll miss the party of the year, said Catherine Jordan, director of the Colley Senior Complex in Troy.
“The Mardi Gras Gala is a fundraiser hosted annually by the Colley Senior Complex in support of the activities and programs at the Troy senior center.
The 2024 Gala is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, February 3, at Cattleman Park. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
Corporate tables are available as well as group tables.
Jordan said the tables are going fast and are available by calling the senior center at 808-8500.
“As usual, the Mari Gras Gala will have a fantastic buffet table and, in addition, there will be a variety of hors d’oeuvres There will be something and more for everyone,” Jordan said. “The Gala will have a great band this year, from Memphis, Tennessee. It’s a band that will have everyone up dancing the night away.”
Tickets are also available for the Drawdown fundraiser for the Colley Senior Complex at the senior center on Elm Street.
In the drawdown, a $100 ticket could win the holder $10,000, Jordan said.
Some people like to get together on a ticket or tickets, the senior center director said. “The more tickets you have the better chance you’ll have and the more exciting the drawdown will be. And, the odds of winning are pretty good.”
Drawdown tickets are available at the Colley Senior Complex as are tables for the Gala.
Everyone is invited to come out to the Gala and have a good time while supporting the Colley Senior Complex.
