Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network opened its newest satellite clinic, Troy Pediatric Clinic & Collegiate Health located at 717 John H Witherington Drive, Troy, and began seeing patients on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
Troy Pediatric Clinic & Collegiate Health offers state-of-the-art healthcare for patients in Troy, Pike County, and surrounding towns. Longtime Troy pediatrician, Dr. Elizabeth Dawson, along with Kat Knox, Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners Roger Kirk, and Maggie Marvin will provide a full range of medical care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. The clinic also offers a full-service laboratory.
Medical professionals are supported by a staff of administrative professionals and a clinical support staff including licensed nurses and a laboratory technician. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 334.697.3007. On the weekend, sick patients can be seen on a walk-in basis at the Dothan clinic.
Caring for the medical needs of children in the Wiregrass region has been the mission of Dothan Pediatric Clinic since being founded in 1953 by Dr. William Lies, III.
In addition to Troy Pediatric Clinic & Collegiate Health, Dothan Pediatric Clinic, which is located at 126 Clinic Drive in Dothan, has three other satellite offices: Eufaula Pediatric Clinic (opened April 2008), a pediatric medical office located at 323 East Barbour Street in Eufaula; Enterprise Pediatric Clinic (opened September 2012), a pediatric medical office located at 526 Boll Weevil Circle in Enterprise, and Ozark Pediatric Clinic (opened January 2016) located at 2125 W. Roy Parker Road in Ozark. Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network also has a pediatric subspecialty clinic, Dothan Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic (opened February 2010), which is located at 5565 Montgomery Highway in Dothan providing pediatric pulmonology, gastroenterology, cardiology, endocrinology, and adolescent medicine services for families in the Wiregrass and surrounding areas.
Dothan Pediatric Healthcare Network has 10 shareholder physicians: Robert J. Benak, MD; Michael J. Ramsey, MD; Kenneth C. Brown, MD; Jeffrey M. Tamburin, MD; Mark F. Strassburg, MD; Allison E. Walker, DO; Nola Ernest, MD; David Lozano, MD; Jennifer Stinson, MD; and Meghan Benak, MD.

The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony was held at 4 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024 with a large number of local officials, community leaders and media in attendance.
