Troy earns commitment from JUCO National Champ

On Thursday, Junior College (JUCO) National Championship winning defensive lineman Cheick “CK” Kaba announced his commitment to play college football at Troy University.
Kaba is a 6-foot-2-inch, 285-pound Minnesota native that played at Fridley High School. Kaba helped Iowa-Western Community College to an NJCAA National Championship this past season as he earned All-Conference honors with 18 tackles, 6.5 tackles-for-loss and 5.5 sacks in nine games.
Kaba transferred to IWCC after one season at Minnesota-Duluth where he earned two tackles, one tackle-for-loss and one sack in three games played. He earned All-State, All-Metro and All-Conference honors twice at Fridley High School.
