In this week’s Alabama Sports Writers Association Top 10 Basketball Poll, the Zion Chapel Rebels landed at No. 6 in Class 2A.

Zion Chapel has earned a Top 10 ranking in every ASWA Poll this season, dropping from No. 4 to No. 6 this week. LaFayette lands at No. 1 in Class 2A with Red Bay, Mars Hill Bible, Pisgah, Collinsville, Zion Chapel, BB Comer, North Sand Mountain, Tanner and Gaston falling in behind them. Ariton just missed out on the Top 10 but did receive votes in the poll.

The Rebels play Pike Lib at 7 p.m. in Troy on Jan. 18.

While Charles Henderson didn’t crack the 5A Top 10, the Trojans did earn votes in this week’s poll.
