Pike Liberal Arts School has released the baseball and softball schedules for the 2024 season.

The softball team will jumpstart the season on Feb. 20 against Northside Methodist before traveling to Carroll on Feb. 22. PLAS plays in the annual Jonah McWaters Tournament Feb. 23-24 and closes out February on the road at Goshen for the first area game of the season.

March opens on the road at the Straughn Softball Tournament March 1-2 and then the Patriots host Luverne on March 5 and Highland Home on March 7 in area games. The Lady Patriots travel to Brantley on March 111 and host Carroll on March 14 before returning to Carroll for tournament action March 15-16.

Back at home, PLAS hosts Goshen in an area game and Brantley for a special 3 p.m. game on March 20 before closing out March at Highland Home in an area game. April opens on the road at Zion Chapel in an area game that will be played at 5 p.m. PLAS then travels to Luverne for another area game on April 4.

PLAS hosts back-to-back home games against Eufaula on April 9 and Zion Chapel for a 5 p.m. area game on April 11. Pike travels to Eufaula for a 5 p.m. rematch on April 22 and then travels to Dothan to face Northside Methodist on April 23 before closing the regular season at home against GW Long on April. 25. The Area Tournament takes place April 26-30.

The Pike Baseball team opens the season on Feb. 17 at home against Houston Academy before hosting 7A Enterprise on Feb. 20 and playing in the Jonah McWaters Tournament Feb. 22-24. The Patriots wrap up February at home against Headland on Feb. 27.

PLAS opens March on the road at Houston Academy on March 2 and hosts Providence Christian on March 4 before traveling to Headland on March 5. Area play begins on March 7-8 with games against Goshen including a doubleheader on March 8.

Pike travels to Ozark to play Carroll in a doubleheader on March 9 and faces Ariton on the road on March 11 before hosting Dale County on March 12 and traveling to Zion Chapel on March 14.

PLAS will travel to 7A Dothan on March1 6 and then hosts Rehobeth on March 18 and travels to 3A Pike County on March 19. Area play returns March 21-22 against Highland Home including a doubleheader at home on March 22. Pike rematches with Ariton on March 23 and closes out March with a tournament appearance in Gulf Shores March 25-28.

April begins at home against Carroll on April 2 and then PLAS plays Luverne April 4-5 in a series of area games that includes a road doubleheader on April 5.

PLAS closes out the regular season at GW Long on April 6, home against Zion Chapel on April 11 for Senior Night and at Rehobeth on April 15. The Area Tournament begins April 19.
