Charles Henderson wraps up Terry Sikes Baseball Tournament

The Terry Sikes Baseball Tournament continued in Troy this weekend with teams from all over the state competing.
Unfortunately, the Charles Henderson Trojans capped off their appearance in the tournament with an 11-1 loss to Oak Mountain on Saturday. CHHS managed just three hits as a team and Kellen Stewart scored the lone run. Stewart also had a triple. Parker Adams pitched three innings and struck out three batters, while giving up four hits and four earned runs. Cole Pugh struck out a pair of batters and gave up four hits and five earned runs in one and 1/3 innings on the mound, while Trenton Bryan pitched one and 2/3 innings and gave up two hits and two earned runs with two strikeouts.
In other Terry Sikes Tournament games this weekend, GW Long topped WS Neal 16-1, Oak Mountain beat Enterprise 2-0 and Enterprise knocked off WS Neal by a score of 11-1.
