The Johnson Center for the Arts is abuzz with activity surrounding the TroyFest Student Art Show that runs through TroyFest on April 27.
The student art show is an annual event at the JAC with students on all grade levels at all schools and homeschools in Pike County invited and encouraged to participate.
And, once again, there was a great response from throughout the county, said Pam Smith, art show organizer.
“We ended up having hundreds of pieces of artwork turned in from 11 area school groups, grades K-12,” Smith said. “The First, Second, Third and Best of Show TroyFest Student Art winners will be recognized at the winner certification presentation as an event of TroyFest. We are going to make the awards at The Johnson Center at noon on Saturday April 27.
The 2024 TroyFest Student Art Show will run through TroyFest, April 27. Johnson Center for the Arts hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and TroyFest hours on the day of the arts/crafts show.
