On April 22, the Troy Regional Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center was named a dual recipient of RetorixHealth’s Clinical Distinction and Excellence in Patient Satisfaction Awards.
Recipients of these awards must meet or exceed national quality benchmarks over a set time period.
“The Troy Regional Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center is proud to be recognized for not only its dedication to healing, but also for its dedication to patient satisfaction,” said Rick Smith, Troy Regional CEO. “We are proud to be a recipient of an award that recognizes the hard work and dedication of our staff.”
RestorixHealth’s Clinical Distinction Award recognizes wound centers that have demonstrated exceptional success by meeting or exceeding clinical benchmarks; while the Excellence in Patient Satisfaction Award recognizes wound centers that have demonstrated superior performance in overall patient satisfaction.
The Troy Regional Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center is dedicated to optimizing outcomes and preventing lower limb loss in patients with non-healing wounds. The approach to wound care is aggressive and comprehensive, coordinating traditional and advanced therapies and techniques that are proven to reduce healing time and improve healing rates.
The center is staffed with clinicians who have advanced training in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. Integrating a team of wound care professionals optimizes patient care, while offering the most advanced healing options for hard to heal wounds.
The Troy Regional center was a dual recipient of the two awards for both periods of 2023 and both periods of 2022. It also received the Center of Excellence Award for January-June 2022 and the Clinical Distinction Award for July-December 2021.
