Pike County crash claims the life of Louisville man

A single vehicle crash in Pike County on Thursday claimed the life of 66-year-old James Otis McCray of Louisville.
According to a release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the crash occurred at approximately 6:55 a.m. when the 2000 Honda CR-V driven by McCray left the roadway, struck a posted traffic sign and overturned before going into a river.
The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 130 near the 5-mile marker, approximately six miles east of the Banks city limits, in Pike County. McCray was pronounced deceased at the scene. ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the crash.
