The “Message Within” Cesar Garcia exhibition at the Johnson Center for the Arts opened on May 8 and has already become a “you’ve got to see this” kind of exhibition, said Andrea Pack, JCA director.

Garcia’s work explores the universal question that humanity continues to ask daily and aims to further the mystery of life.

In Garcia’s work, viewers will find new meaning to previously undetected images that create a new meaning to his work, Pack said.

There are never ending possibilities to Garcia’s work as viewers realize it is all about the interpretation of the viewer.

Garcia said he is looking for a meaningful way to represent, not only the world he lives in, but also in the way he perceives his own inner soul. “The art becomes, not just about the artist but also about the observer.
