A summer art explosion was has heard on East Walnut Street on Monday morning.

A large group of youngsters was creating magic-bean art, which was found to be the cause of the explosion of colorful dynamic beans of different sizes, shapes and colors.

Andrea Pack, director of the Johnson Center for the Arts, said the Summer Art Explosion is an annual summer occurrence and, once again, young artists, are creating art that explodes with color and ideas that can readily be translated into stories.
