Friends of the Troy Public Library would like to say congratulations to every child who participates in the Troy Public Library’s Summer Program and completes a reading log.
Bonnie Souders, Friends of the Troy Public Library president, and Joyce Cooper, Friends of the Library, met with Jeanna Barnes, owner of bSweet Bakery in downtown Troy, to receive coupons for children involved in the Troy Public Library’s Summer Reading program.
Each participant in the library’s summer reading program who completes his or her reading log will have coupon for a little treat at the bSweet Bakery.
“We appreciate Jeanna Barnes bSweet for their support of our library’s Summer Reading Program,” Cooper said. “Reading is an adventure and the summer reading program encourages children to read for enjoyment and for learning.
Barnes expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to support the Troy Public Library’s Summer Reading program and looks forward to having the young readers visit bSweet Bakery in downtown Troy.
“Reading is learning fun and the Troy Public has many books for young people to read and enjoy. Barnes said. “And bSweet congratulates young people who complete their reading logs and with hopes they continue to enjoy reading as they grow older.
