Special Fourth of July event at Pioneer Museum

In addition to Fourth of July parades, fireworks and barbecues across the county, the Pioneer Museum of Alabama will be Rolling into the Fourth with regular museum hours 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and a special celebration of the Locklar’s Rolling Store’s becoming a permanent addition to the museum.
Barbara Tatom, museum director, said the grand opening of the Locklar Rolling Store addition to the museum will be from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The museum’s Fourth of July celebration will include the unveiling of the Artemis I Moon Tree.
There will be ice cream and fried apples, children’s activities, live music and games throughout the day’s events.
Everyone is invited to include the Fourth of July by “Rolling into the Fourth” at the Pioneer Museum of Alabama.
