Pike Liberal Arts incoming senior Luke Barron participated in the 2024 AHSAA North vs South All-Star baseball game on Monday in Montgomery at the Riverwalk Stadium, home of the Montgomery Biscuits. The all-star teams were made up of the top players from around the state in the 1A-7A classifications. Barron played for the South team that defeated the North team 4-1. Barron pitched two innings giving up one hit and no earned runs. Barron commented on the experience, “It meant a lot to me to be invited and get to play in the game. There were a lot of kids there that are going on to play D1 baseball and it makes me realize that I can play with those guys.”
