On Saturday, July 13th, the Troy Tiger Sharks Swim Team travelled to Dothan for the District VI Swim Meet.

The Tiger Sharks placed 3^rd overall in the district and had 22 swimmers qualify in a combined total of 37 individual entries and 7 relays for the State Swimming Championships that will be held in Opelika, Alabama July 26^th-27^th.

Individual results are listed below.

Gwyn Parker competed in the 9-10 girls division earning her spot at state by placing 2^nd in the 100 Individual Medley, 4^th in the 50 breaststroke, 1^st in the girls 9-10 200 medley relay, and 1st in the girls 9-10 200 freestyle relay. Breaststroke

Kolbi Parker competed in the 11-12 girls division earning her spot at state by placing 4^th in the 50 breast, 4^th in the mixed 11-12 200 freestyle relay, and 3^rd in the mixed 11-12 200 medley relay.

Piper Pennington competed in the 11-12 girls division securing her spot at state by placing 2^nd and making the state qualifying time for the 50 freestyle, 3^rd in the 50 buUerfly, 3rd in the 50 breaststroke, 4^th in the mixed 11-12 200 freestyle relay, and 3^rd in the mixed 11-12 200 medley relay.

Blakeley Smith competed in the 9-10 girls division earning her spot at state by placing 1^st in the 9-10 girls 200 medley relay, 2^nd in the 50 breaststroke, 4^th in the 100 freestyle, 1^st in the 50 buUerfly, and 1^st in the 9-10 girls 200 freestyle relay.

Katherine Rainey competed in the 9-10 girls division earning her spot at state by placing 1^st in the 9-10 girls 200 medley relay, 3^rd in the 50 freestyle, 3^rd in the 100 freestyle, 2^nd in the 50 backstroke, and 1^st in the 9-10 girls 200 freestyle relay.

Baylor Smith competed in the 8 and under girls in all of her individual events and swimming up an age division in her relays. She placed 3^rd in the 8 and under 25 fly, 1^st in the 9-10 girls 200 medley relay and 1^st in the 9-10 girls 200 freestyle relay.

Charlee Smith competed in the 8 and under girls division securing her spot at state by placing 4^th in the 100 medley relay, made the state qualifying time in the 25 yard freestyle, placed 2^nd in the 25 breaststroke, made the state qualifying time in the 25 backstroke and placed 3^rd in the 8 and under girls 100 freestyle relay.

Oliver Parker competed in the 8 and under boys division earning his spot at state by placing 1^st and making the state qualifying time in the 25 freestyle and placed 3^rd in the 25 buUerfly.

Adyn Norris competed in the 15-18 girls division earning her spot at state by placing 3^rd in the mixed 15-18 200 freestyle relay, 4^th in the 50 buUerfly and 3^rd in the 50 backstroke.

Baylor Pennington competed in the 13-14 boys division in his individual events and one relay. He also swam up in the 15-18 age division in another relay. He secured his spot at state by making the qualifying time and placing 1^st in the 100 individual medley, making the qualifying time and placing 1^st in the 50 freestyle, and making the qualifying time and placing 1^st in the 100 freestyle. He also placed 1^st in the

13-14 individual medley relay and placed 3^rd in the 15-18 freestyle relay.

Jesse Swindall competed in the 13-14 boys division in his individual events and one relay while also swimming up an age group in the 15-18 division for a second relay. Jesse secured his spot at state by placing 3^rd in the 100 individual medley, 4^th in the 50 freestyle, 2^nd in the 50 breaststroke, 3^rd in 15-18 mixed medley relay, and 1^st in the 13-14 200 freestyle relay.

Brea Swindall competed in the 13-14 girls division in her individual events and one relay while also swimming up an age group to swim a second relay. She earned her spot for state by placing 3^rd in the 50 breaststroke, 1^st in the 13-14 200 medley relay, and 3^rd in the 15-18 200 freestyle relay.

Alyssa Forehand competed in the 13-14 girls division earning her spot for state by placing 3^rd in the 100 freestyle, 1^st in the 50 buUerfly, 3^rd in the 50 backstroke, and 1^st in the mixed 13-14 200 medley relay.

Ryan Swindall competed in the 11-12 boys division earning his spot for state by placing 2^nd in the 50 freestyle, 2^nd in the 100 freestyle, 4^th in the 50 backstroke, 4^th in the mixed 11-12 200 freestyle relay, 4th in the 11-12 200 freestyle relay, and 3^rd in the 11-12 200 medley relay.

Shelton Herndon competed in the 11-12 boys division securing his spot at state by placing 2^nd in the 50 buUerfly and placing 4^th in the 11-12 200 freestyle relay.

Jax Horn competed in the 9-10 boys division and swimming up an age division in two relays. He secured his spot at state by placing 4^th in the 50 breaststroke, 2^nd in the 100 freestyle, 3^rd in the 11-12 mixed 200 freestyle relay, and 3^rd in the mixed 200 medley relay.

Savannah Rainey competed in the 8 and under girls division earning her spot at state by placing 4^th in the 25 buUerfly and 4^th in the 8 and under 100 medley relay.

Emma Estes competed in the 8 and under girls division earning her spot at state by placing 4^th in the 8 and under 100 medley relay.

Breena Martin competed in the 8 and under girls division earning her spot at state by placing 3^rd in the 8 and under 100 freestyle relay.

Hadley Felch competed in the 8 and under girls division earning her spot at state by placing 3^rd in the 8 and under 100 freestyle relay.

Elias Meadows competed in the 11-12 boys division earning her spot at state by placing 4^th in the 8 and under 200 freestyle relay.

Rosalyn Parker competed in the 8 and under division earning her spot at state by placing 3^rd in the 8 and under 100 freestyle relay, placing 4^th in the 8 and under 100 medley relay, 2^nd in the 25 buUerfly and 3^rd in the 100 freestyle.
