The Annie Lois McNabb Annual School Supply Giveaway is set for 10 until 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Washington Street Park in Troy. The school supplies are designated for grades K-5. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

When Annie Lois McNabb died in March 2012, her children honored her with a school supply giveaway which has become a back-to-school meaningful way for the children of Jimmy and Annie Lois McNabb to honor the love and legacy of their parents.

“Both of our patents had a love for education so the donation of school supplies is a small way to honor them and also our siblings that are no longer with us,” said David McNabb. The extended family of Annie Lois and Jimmy McNabb continues their legacy by “accentuating the positive” just they did and also encouraged them all to do the same.
