Mama Jays ’free Pancake Breakfast will be from 8 a.m. until noon Saturday and will be followed by the Back 2 School Jamboree that goes until 5 p.m. at Mama Jay’s on S.A. Graham Blvd. in downtown Brundidge.

“This is Mama Jay’s way of saying thank you to all those who support the “Island Girl Café” in Brundidge and to encourage others to come visit us,” Collins said. “

However, the 2024 Back to School event is strictly kid centered.

“Beginning at noon, we’ll have a lot of activities for the kids –water balloons, slip and slide, a bouncy house and different kinds of games.” Collins said.  “I believe in giving back to the community. The Back 2 School Jamboree is one way the Island Girl gives back.”
