Troy adds football series with Louisiana Tech to future schedules

This Summer, Troy University has been busy filling out future non-conference football schedules and this week added a home-and-home series with Louisiana Tech for the 2030 and 2032 seasons.

The first game will see the Trojans host Louisiana Tech on Sept. 14, 2023, while Troy will travel to Louisiana Tech on Sept. 25, 2032. These games will be the first time the two schools have ever met on the football field.

The first matchup for the two schools is the first non-conference game that Troy has scheduled for the 2030 season, while Louisiana Tech joins UAB as the two non-conference games already slated for 2032.

This summer Troy completed the non-conference slates for 2025 (Memphis, Nicholls State, Clemson and Buffalo), 2026 (Sam Houston State, Alabama State, Mississippi Sate and Missouri), 2027 (Mississippi State, Southeastern Louisiana, Buffalo and Miami, Fla.) and 2028 (North Carolina State, West Georgia, UAB and Clemson). Troy’s has at least one opponent scheduled for every season through 2039, thus far.
