Troy Mayor Jason Reeves said Mickey DiChiara was a friend and an important part of, not only the medical community, but the Troy community as a whole.
“Dr. Mickey” was a friend and an important part of, not only the medical community but the Troy community as a whole. He will be missed by people from every walk of life in the Pike County area. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and many friends. He will be sorely missed and was a true Trojan,”
The Troy Regional Medical Center family counted DiChiara as one among them, said Rick Smith, CEO Troy Regional Medical Center.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and staff. Not only was Mickey an outstanding physician, he was a fine person. He loved his family, his patients, and his community, and he served them well.’
“We appreciate his support of Troy Regional Medical Center and his confidence in us to help him continue the practice he worked so hard to build. Mickey DiChiara has left a legacy of caring service and will be fondly remembered for his contributions.”
Sherrill Crowe has been affiliated with Troy Regional Medical Center and the medical community in Troy for 41 years. He said Mickey DiChiara was one of the finest practicing physicians he has known.
“Mickey was greatly appreciated by his medical associates, his staff, his patients and throughout the medical community,” Crowe said. He was loved and respected by all who he knew. There was no finer doctor and no finer man than Mickey DiChiara. He will be missed and long remembered by all who knew him. And, I am thankful to be among them.”
