Pike County crash claims life of 27-year-old Ozark Man

According to a release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, a single-vehicle crash claimed the life of an Ozark man in Pike County on Sept. 11.

On Wednesday, Sept. 11, at approximately 6:15 a.m., a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro left the roadway and struck a utility pole, a sign, a parked unoccupied 2000 Dodge Ram and a parked unoccupied 1997 Dodge Ram claiming the life of Radaress, Odell Haynes, 27, of Ozark. Haynes was driving the Camaro and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on U.S. Highway 231 near the 59-mile marker, approximately four miles south of Brundidge, in Pike County. Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Trooper are investigating the crash.
