Ally-Anna Outlaw interned with Sen. Katie Britt

Ally-Anna Outlaw, a graduate of Ozark City Schools, was selected to intern with U.S. Senator Katie Britt during the first summer term of 2024.

Outlaw expressed her excitement and appreciation for the opportunity to be a part of an internship in the nation’s capital and in the office of Senator Katie Britt.

“Being a summer intern in Washing D.C. was an honor and a wonderful learning experience,” Outlaw said. “And, to intern with Senator Katie Britt was an opportunity to know and better understand the role of women in politics.”

Outlaw said the summer internship was also an opportunity to get a closer look and a better understanding of how the national government works and how the decisions made in the capital city affect us all. It was an experience I’ll never forget and I’m so thankful for it.”

Britt said the group’s earnest commitment to public service was matched only by its eagerness to learn and contribute.

The Alabama Senator thanked each of the summer interns for his or her exceptional work and wished them all good luck as they continue “to make your mark.”
