Bennie Johnson of Brundidge, AL passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Graceville Health Center in Graceville, FL. He was 75. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Senn and Freddie Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. He was born December 3, 1948 in Pike County, AL. to the late Len H. Johnson and Lula M. Jordan Johnson. He is survived by his brother, Jimmy Johnson (Marie), Troy; sisters, Ruth Lee (Kenneth), Troy and Helen Dyer (Walter) Elba; stepson, Joseph Whitehead; step grandchildren, Madison, Logan and Tristan Whitehead; nephews, Jack Brooks, Jerry Brooks (Regina), Wayne Hogan (Carol), Scott Hogan (Linda), and Brian Dyer; nieces, Jane Brooks, Jean Huggins, Wilma Price (Raymond), Mashone Fleming (Jade), and Jennifer Dyer; great nieces, Tashia Shepherd, Jordyn Allen, Crystal Allen, and Cassidy Allen; great nephew, Evan Allen, Jr. The guest book may be signed and words of condolences expressed at www.skeenfuneralhome.com

Alice Davenport Wilson of Troy, AL. passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Troy Health and Rehab. She was 81. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell C. Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Griffin Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2024 at Skeen Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Alice was born July 31, 1943 in Pike County, AL. to the late Bob Davenport and Idell Griffin Davenport. Alice and Roy owned and operated Parkway Truck Stop for over 30 years. She was also employed with Dr. Thomas as a dental assistant and at Stanton’s as a sales representative. She is survived by her husband, Roy Wilson, Troy; children, Michelle Tyson (Ty), Ariton; Lomax Bryan (Judy), Troy, Jenel Allred (Stacy), Tyler Tyson, Tanner Tyson, Trevor Bryan, Emily Bryan, Tonya Mead, Steven Mead, Patrick Mead (Crystal) and Samuel Allred.
