October is proclaimed Founder’s Month in Troy  in honor of Alpha Delta Kappa Alpha Delta Chapter.

Alpha Delta Kappa is an International Honorary Organization for Women Educators. Many altruistic projects are offered at the local level including major donations to Children’s Hospital of Alabama at the state level.

At the International  level Alpha Delta Kappa contributes millions of dollars to St. Jude Children’s Hospital as well as contributions to Alzheimer’s Association. Alpha Delta Kappa biennially awards more than $250,000.00 through its scholarship and grants programs.
