The Charles Henderson Lady Trojans traveled to Montgomery on Wednesday to compete in the Class 5A, Area 3 Volleyball Tournament.

Charles Henderson fell to Andalusia in the Area Semifinals by a score of 3-0. CHHS fell 25-16, 25-14 and 25-21 in the three sets. Jordan Owens led Charles Henderson with 12 kills, 17 digs, three blocks and three aces, while Katie Sparrow tallied three kills, four digs and three blocks. Kahdyn Bivin added one kill, 10 digs and one ace. Bennett Holmes earned nine digs and an ace, while Sinai Sanchez chipped in with 15 assists and six digs.

The loss brings the 2024 CHHS volleyball team. Brewbaker Tech went on to beat Andalusia 3-1 in the finals. Both Brewbaker and Andalusia will advance to the 5A Regional Tournament in Montgomery.
