“Several years ago, Marcia Rice painted iconic buildings of downtown Troy,” Hammond said. “The Auxiliary had prints made of this beautiful painting, and can be purchased for $50. A limited number of signed prints will be available for $100,  They also have a limited number of signed prints by the late artist. The  signed prints are $100.

“When these prints were originally made, the Auxiliary also had notecards made—the painting is divided into four scenes,” Hammond said. “The notecards were immensely popular and quickly sold out.”

Hammond said the TAC received a large number of requests for Rice’s notecards and had them reprinted. The  framed notecards are beautiful.

These note cards will make great gifts or for your own enjoyment, Hammond said.

One of the items for sale is the “Troy Sampler”, a project of the Troy Arts Council Auxiliary featuring architectural artwork of Troy.
