Beyond providing physical treatment, hospice attends to the patient’s emotional, spiritual and family needs and provides family service such as respite care and bereavement counseling.

Thousands of hospice care agencies across the United States have declared the month of November 2024 as National Hospice Care Month and are calling on all Americans to observe 2024 National Hospice Care Month within their communities.
Troy Mayor Jason A. Reeves has proclaimed November 2024 as National Hospice Care Month in the City of Troy. He encourages the support and participation of all citizens in learning more about the concepts of hospice and joins in activities that promote awareness of the important role of hospice care.
