At Christmas time, Pike County Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign continues to provide funding for local needs throughout the year.

“Every dollar, every dime, makes a positive difference in the lives of friends and neighbors in need,” said Donna Kidd, Pike County Salvation Army director.

“We can’t say ‘thank you’ enough to those who make the Red Kettle Campaign a success,” she said.

And, a special thank you is reserved for the local businesses and churches that sponsor the Red Kettles for the fundraising campaign.

“Without their support, there would be no Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign,” Kidd said. “There would be no bells ringing in public places and no little kids dropping dimes and nickels in Red Kettles for children less fortunate.

Although ‘thank you’ is never enough, the sponsors would say differently.
