The Alabama Dept. of Veterans Affairs (ADVA) is encouraging all Veterans in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs system to confirm their information is updated and accurate inane effort to assist in eliminating backlogs.

This suggestion comes as the National Consolidated Processing Team for Beneficiary Travel is working with the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs through Jan. 30 to clear the backlog of payment requests it has. The team’s goal is to have the backlogs eliminated and payments back on track by the end of January.

Veterans in the system can assist with this process – and ensure receiving payments quickly – by taking a moment to contract their local U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs hospital or facility to confirm the information below is up to date: mailing address, home and mobile phone numbers, E-mail address and bank account details.
