On Jan. 7, the Charles Henderson wrestling team competed at the Thunderbird Tri-Match against Park Crossing and Carver-Montgomery at Park Crossing High School. 

CHHS lost 30-18 to Carver in the first match. For CHHS, Watlee Bavaria (138 pounds), Henry Grenon (144 pounds) and Jackson Jones (190 pounds) each won via forfeit. 

CHHS fell 59-18 to Park Crossing, as well. For Charles Henderson, Hayes West (106 pounds) and Jackson Jones (190 pounds) won via forfeit, while Brendon Mosley defeated Park Crossing’s Ki’moni Hawthorne at 215 pounds via pinball.
