On Thursday, the Sun Belt Conference announced the cross-divisional slate of games for the 2025 football season. 

Troy will face off against Georgia State and Old Dominion from the Sun Belt East in 2025. This will be the first time that Troy and Old Dominion have ever played on the football field. Old Dominion will be heading into its fourth year in the Sun Belt after going 5-7 this past season. Troy will play at Old Dominion in 2025. 

This will also be the first time Troy has played Georgia State since 2023, a 28-7 Trojans win. Troy is 6-4 all-time against Georgia State but 2025 will be the first time the Trojans have hosted the Panthers since 2020. 

Troy’s non-conference schedule in 2025 will include home games against Nicholls State on Aug. 30 and Memphis on Sept. 13 along with road matchups against Clemson on Sept. 6 and Buffalo on Sept. 20. 

Troy will release the rest of its 2025 in the coming weeks.
