Tennessee offensive lineman Vysen Lang signed with the Trojans.

Lang is a 6-foot-4-inch, 340-pound offensive lineman that played high school football just 38 miles north at Pike Road High School. Lang earned All-State and Alabama-Mississippi All-Star honors at Pike Road. He and the Patriots won the 2021 Class 5A State Championship and he helped guide a Patriot running game that averaged 300 yards per game.

Lang originally signed with Tennessee out of high school as a three-star rated prospect. He was also rated as the No. 23 prospect in the State of Alabama and the No. 45 overall interior offensive lineman from 247Sports.

Lang redshirted in 2023 but still competed in four games for the Volunteers. Lang played in five games in 2024. He will have three years of eligibility left. Lang played both center and guard at Tennessee.

Troy also added former Appalachian State and Auburn offensive lineman Garner Langlo, as well. Langlo is a Hartford native that played high school football at Trinity. He was rated as one of the top 50 interior offensive linemen in the country coming out of high school and earned All-County honors as a senior.

The 6-foot-7-inch, 300-pounder signed with Auburn out of high school. He transferred to Appalachian State after his redshirt freshman season in 2023. Langlo earned his first career start on Sept. 20, 2024, against South Alabama at offensive guard.

He played in 10 games and started six games in 2024, including the last four of the season. The majority of Langlo’s snaps came at left guard but he also played more than 100 snaps at right guard and 42 at right tackle. He gave up just one sack in 273 pass situations and was called for only two penalties all season. Langlo will come to Troy with one year of eligibility remaining.

Langlo, Lang, defensive end Deairich Jackson Jr. and former Georgia safety David Daniel-Sisavanh all signed with Troy on Monday. Troy also has an additional seven commitments from the transfer portal already.
