“It’s camp stew weather” and the Pike County Salvation Army Service Center in Troy will have its “best around” camp stew for pre-sale at noon on Friday, February 6. And, In today’s world at an almost unbelievable price, $10 a quart.

Dona Kidd, service center manager, said although the camp stew sale is a fundraiser for the service center, it’s also a way to say “thank you, Pike County,” for its continuing support of the service center’s fundraising campaigns, most recently, the Red Kettle campaign.

“And, gives us the opportunity to do more for friends and neighbors in need,” Kidd said.

Orders for the camp stew will be available for pick up at noon on Friday, February 6.
