The Troy City Council held its first council meeting of 2025 on Tuesday, Jan. 14, with just two pieces of business on the agenda.
In the first piece of business, the council unanimously approved a resolution to reopen bids for a grounds crew truck for the city. The city previously opened bids and received none. The council reopened the bid with the hopes that local businesses would bid.
In the final piece of business, the council unanimously approved entering into a professional services agreement with Cameron Rice for economic development work with the city through Nov. 1, 2025.
The council will hold its next meeting on Jan. 28 at 5 p.m. at Troy City Hall’s Council Chambers. There will be a public work session upstairs in the conference room at Troy City Hall beginning at 4 p.m.
