H. A. Welch, Jr., 81, of China Grove Community died Wednesday, March 22, 2000 at Baptist Medical Center.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m., Friday, March 24 at the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy with Ministers Coleman Boyd and Mitch Temple presiding. Burial will follow in China Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include wife of 40 years, Dorothy Nell Welch of China Grove; daughters and son-in-law, Rheba Cash of Pike Road, Connie and Randy Culpepper of Pike Road; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Latona Cash of Pike Road; grandchildren, Kristin and Jonathan Torode of Auburn, Kevin and Christine Cash of Ft. Worth, Texas, Heather Culpepper of Montgomery; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Robert Gentry of Prattville; brother and sister-in-law, Willard and Annette Welch of Norfolk, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Mt. Olive Church of Christ.
He was born and raised in China Grove and was a World War II Veteran.
Memorials may be made to the National Parkinsons Foundation.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 23 at Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Marjorie Miley Williamson, 69, of 200 Bruce Street, Apt. 26 in Troy died Tuesday, March 21, 2000 at Baptist Medical Center.
Survivors include sisters, Evelyn Boutwell of Panama City, Fla., Margaret Flowers of Troy; brothers, Don Miley of Troy, Ed and Reuben Miley of Milton, Fla.
She was preceded in death by husband, Doug Williamson; son, Nick Williamson; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miley; and brother, James Miley
