Lucy Davis, 82, of Rt. 2, Luverne died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000 in Troy.
Her funeral was held at 3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Brannan presiding. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park.
Survivors include husband, Bill Davis of Rt. 2 Luverne; sister, Bonnie Bell Pippins of Samson; brothers, Harvey Blair of Silver Hill, Ala.; I. V. Blair of Orlando, Fla., Edsen Blair of Delhi, Calif.; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Matt Taylor, Jason Taylor, Clint Lindsey, Donnie Carnley, Randy Taylor, and Michael Wilkerson.
Visitation was from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy.
Memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
Victoria Diana Scott
Victoria Diana Scott, 20, of 211 John Lewis Drive died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000 as the result of an automobile accident in Montgomery.
Her funeral was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 19 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Troy with the Dr. L. C. McMillian presiding. Harrison Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Survivors include parents, Peggy Scott and John Ray Davis (deceased); stepmother Carolyn Davis of Montgomery; grandmother Lula Wright of Troy; aunts, Carrie (Willie) Cogburn of Detroit, Mich., Katie (James) McCoullogh of Detroit, Mich., Polly Scott of Troy, Annie L. Scott, Diana Scott, Nettie C. Pryor, Velma (Jessie) Youngblood, Janice Davis, Annette Davis, Brenda Davis all from Troy; uncles, Richard (Kathy) Scott of Jacksonville, Fla., James Davis of Winters Garden, Fla., Willie Scott, Davis Scott, Otis (Mary) Scott, George (Elizabeth) Davis, Frank (Sheree) Berry all of Troy; and a host of great aunts, relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be George Berry, J. T. Jones, James Davis, Jessie Youngblood, Otis Scott, and David Scott.
Floralbearers will be Marriot Home Girls Softball Team.
She was born on July, 17, 1979 in Troy to Peggy Scott and John Ray Davis. She attended Charles Henderson High School and Alabama State University. She was employed at Hampton Inn Hotel. She attended Bethel Missionary Baptist in Troy.
Visitation was from noon until 6 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18 and one hour prior to service.
Daniel J. Berry
Daniel J. Berry, 63, of Rt. 1 Box 37 in Brundidge died Friday, Feb. 18, 2000 at his home.
His funeral was graveside at 9 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 19 at Lakeview Cemetery with minister Randall Myers presiding. Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge is handling arrangements.
Survivors include wife, Marjorie A. Berry of Brundidge; daughter, (Donnie) Campbell of Brundidge; son, Michael Daniel Berry of Brundidge; grandson, Chris Berry; sister, Maunell (Leonard) Shiver of Brundidge; mother, Louise W. Shiver of Brundidge; nieces, Dana (Josh) Ainsworth, Amber (Henry) Shellman; great-niece, Corney Ainsworth; and great-nephew, Hunter Ainsworth.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Shiver, Wayne Thrash, Chris Copeland, Donnie Campbell, Jody Senn and Michael Campbell.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18 at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.
William Gaston Senn
William Gaston Senn, 68, of Rt. 1 Box 54-A in Brundidge died Friday, Feb. 18, 2000 at Dale Medical Center.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 21 at Shady Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Shirlie Ellis and Tommy Cronier presiding. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Brundidge. Dillard Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Survivors include, Vina Mae Senn of Brundidge; daughter, Kathy Claybrook of Brundidge; sons, Randy Senn of Brundidge, Wayne Senn of Lanett, Freddy Senn of Wadley, Chris Senn of Calera, Gary Senn of Brundidge; sister, Pauline Ellis of Brundidge; brother, Milton Senn of Brundidge; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 20 at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.
